Sam is a white queer, trans, and disabled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. They use they/them pronouns. They have conducted therapy and facilitated groups in addiction, mental health, and eating disorder treatment with adults and teens. Most recently, Sam transitioned to providing therapy in private practice. The therapeutic modalities Sam draws from most often are ACT, IFS, somatic, mindfulness, and experiential techniques. They have worked most extensively with the following populations: Autistic adults and young adults, trans folks, queer folks, kinky people, polyamorous people, individuals with bipolar disorder, ADHDers, individuals with (C)PTSD, individuals with chronic pain, and individuals with eating disorders and/or substance addiction. As a therapist, Sam wants to help you identify your feelings, needs, wants, and resources. They try to create a space where all of you is welcome, seen, and respected. While Sam always attempt to approach therapy through an inclusive, intersectional lens they are open to critical feedback on their work and open to collaboration/ skill sharing with others.
